It reminds me of...nevermind.But I love me some coffee. For sure."Excited there Nicky?" Joe smirked at me."Yeeeeees!!!!" I squeaked."Well, come on then, before you cream yourself from excitement and anticipation!" he laughed.So not funny. We walked in, and the familiar sights, sounds, and scents engulfed me.The 'business' people clacking away on their laptops, trying to make people think they're important even though they're probably googling giraffes or something, the blender squealing from ice and other ingredients swirling around in it, the sweet scent of coffee, various amounts of coffee. God I love starbucks."Can I help you?" the lady at the counter asked us, very perkily."I want a sugar free mocha java chip frappucino please!!!" I smiled."I'll have a vanilla latte with a shot of espresso please." Joe said, tiredly."Okay, that'll be $8.50." Joe handed her the money, and we waited for our drinks.The guy blended them and slid them to us. We tipped him and went to a table.I slurped on my frappucino, and Joe sipped lightly on his latte as we chatted about mindless things."Well well well. My little Nicky. I've missed you." the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. It couldn't be. "R-Ryan?" I stammered. Joe looked confused as hell."Yes baby, I'm back." he pulled a chair up to the table and sat."Do not call me baby, you monster." I glared."Now, is that any way to talk to your boyfriend?" he smirked."Excuse me?!" Joe snapped."No! Joe he's not my boyfriend! I ended it with him years ago! He's just insane, and a horrible, horrible monster!" I felt tears stinging my eyes."Then what the FUCK is he doing here?" Joe glared at Ryan."I'm here, to get my Nicky. Now if you'll excuse us, we have some unfinished business." Ryan sneered."No please, Ryan just leave me alone!" I begged. He just grabbed my wrist and began to drag me from the coffee shop."I do NOT think so!" Joe came up and punched Ryan square in the face.He was down. Out cold. I love Joe."Joey!! Take me out of here! Please!" I jumped into his arms."Okay baby. We're leaving this shit state, once and for all." he soothed, taking me to the car.{at the apartment}"You ready baby?" Joe asked. "Yep." I zipped my suitcase and we walked out the door, on our way to the airport.We were in the car, driving. It's a 2 hour drive to the airport! Insanity!"So, where you guys headed?" I heard someone say, and when I turned around, I screamed bloody murder."AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! DEMON!!!!!" I screamed."How dare you! I am not a demon!! How could you say that Nickel?!" then I realized, the only person who has ever called me Nickel."K-Kylie?" I whispered, eyes widening."In the silhouette." she winked. I jumped into the backseat, attacking her."OH MY GOD!!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!" I cried, hugging her, which was weird considering she's a spirit. "I see that, now come on, you're ruffling my dress." she smirked."She came to see me a while ago. Told me to quit being a whore." Joe laughed."Thank you!" I hugged Kylie again."Yeah yeah, no problemo. Now, where are you guys going?" she asked."Airport." Joe said."No shit. Where are you moving to?" she asked."Oh, Michigan." Joe corrected himself, I laughed."How did you know we were moving?" I asked her."I watch you guys, to make sure you're safe." she smiled."Creeeeeeeeper!!!!" Joe sang."Joseph, do I need to have you smited?" she raised her eyebrows."No ma'am, carry on." he smirked."That's right. Anyway, so this Ryan guy. I'll take care of him. And you two, have fun in the dirty mitten." Kylie winked."Wait! Before you leave, two questions." I said."Fire away." she said."One: will you be back?" I asked."Of course." she smiled."Good. Two: did you hear what Joe and I said to you the day of your funeral?" I felt some tears building. As usual."Yes I did. I don't think I've ever heard anything more loving, sweet, and heartfelt come from anyone's mouth. I love you guys to death. Literally." she winked, kissed us both, and dissolved away."That is crazy as hell!!" I laughed, going back up front."I know, I was freaked the night she came to me. She warned me about them taking you..." Joe trailed off."And you did everything you could to stop it. And you ended up saving me, and the girl Molly. You're my little hero." I pecked is lips."You're my little Nickybear." he winked at me, I blushed.We pulled into the airport, after what seemed like years.We boarded our plane, and it was a surprisingly empty flight. "Okay passengers, strap in and enjoy the 4 hour flight to Detroit, Michigan!" the overly happy pilot announced.On our way to a new life..let's hope this goes well.will it?love kylie(:
